Since graduating from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Gene has developed an impressive set of skills, certifications, and memberships, including extensive experience working with the oil and gas industry, closely held corporations, and business technology solutions. Gene is also a member of the AICPA, the SLCPA, and the AICPA Tax Practice Section. He has passed the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 exams and is a registered representative of Avantax Investment ServicesSM.
