After graduating Suma Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Jacob joined Darnall, Sikes & Frederick and currently serves on the firm's Operations Committee and Tax Committee. He is also a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.
While primarily focusing on areas of individual and business taxation, Jacob has obtained extensive experience in assisting clients with a wide array of financial matters pertaining to all stages of a business' life cycle. Through that experience, he has developed specialized knowledge in the areas of business startups, entity restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions. Jacob is a solutions-oriented problem-solver and is always willing to go the extra mile for his clients. He has passed the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 exams and is a registered representative of Avantax Investment ServicesSM.
