Joan has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. She manages and delivers tax consulting, planning and compliance services to corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, along with the individual owners of these companies. While concentrating on the development and implementation of tax plan strategies, Joan frequently consults with clients on business transactions, entity structure, financial statements and management reports. She serves clients in a number of industries including healthcare, law firms, real estate, manufacturing, and high net worth individuals.
Joan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in 1988 and earned her CPA license in 1990. Joan is an active member of the AICPA and the LCPA. Joan has passed the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 exams, which allows her to provide comprehensive, tax-optimized wealth management services. She is a registered representative of Avantax Investment ServicesSM.
