John Wolpers

John joined Darnall, Sikes & Frederick in 2021 with comprehensive prior experiences in taxation, including at a Big 4 accounting firm and also within the internal tax department of a publicly traded company. He has experience with and currently focuses on providing tax consulting, planning and compliance services to closely held corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and LLCs. He also provides tax planning and compliance services to the individual owners of these companies and to any other individuals with tax service needs. He has experience with clients in a variety of industries including but not limited to professional services, retail, manufacturing & distribution, technology, real estate & construction, marine transportation, hospitality, food/beverage retail, high net worth individuals and the entertainment industry. He has experience with consolidated entities, multi-state businesses and also closely held businesses with international tax compliance needs.

John graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a degree in Microbiology. He then later decided to pursue a career in public accounting and so attended the University of New Orleans where he graduated with a Master’s degree in Accounting with an emphasis on Taxation. John became a Certified Public Accountant in 2016. He is a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
